John Cappello

Biographical Information

John Cappello is the Chairman of the Board and President of the West Dallas Chamber of Commerce. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Dallas and an M. B. A. from the Graduate School of Management at the University of Dallas. John has been involved in Dallas city politics for the past 13 years working on environmental issues, housing, planning and development, the Trinity River project, and recent bond elections. He currently serves on the board of the Trinity Commons Foundation and is a commissioner on the Productivity and Innovation Commission for the City of Dallas.

John's professional experience includes many years in the retail and food service industries and in real estate. He has been recognized by the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives for his tenure in the chamber of commerce business and has recently received an award from the West Dallas Community Church. This award is the Arvell Wilson Sr. Award given out for outstanding service to the West Dallas Community. He is a recent graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) Citizen's Academy. John is known in the metaphysics community for his visionary work.
